  • Microsoft Windows 2000 Datacenter Server

SUMMARY

When you start Windows 2000 Setup by using Winnt32.exe, the license agreement appears in a scrollable box. You are prompted to read the license agreement before agreeing to the terms of the license agreement. However, you do not have to scroll through the entire license agreement before you can click "I accept the agreement" and continue.

When you run text-mode Setup from the four boot floppy disks or CD-ROM, you can press the F8 key without having to press the PAGE DOWN key until you reach the bottom of the license agreement before you can continue.

MORE INFORMATION

This change is by design to be more in line with other Microsoft products.

Users who install Windows 2000 and click "I accept this agreement" are bound by the terms of the license agreement.
