SYMPTOMSWhen you click the Windows logo key on the keyboard console of the On-Screen Keyboard program (Osk.exe) to display the Start menu, you may start the Shut Down menu instead. You may see the above symptom if your computer is configured as follows:
CAUSEThis problem occurs because the On-Screen Keyboard console is displayed on your monitor in such a position that it is overlaid in the path of the Start menu. When you click the Windows logo key on the left side of the on-screen keyboard console, the program is active and waiting for the next keystroke. However, when you click the mouse button, the Start menu is selected, and the Shut Down command is run. RESOLUTIONTo resolve this problem:

Move the pointer over the Start menu, and then press and hold the mouse button. Point to Programs, point to Accessories, and then point to Notepad. Release the mouse button. You have just started the program with one full mouse click. Additional query words:
