Magnifier Covers Part of Windows 2000 Setup

SYMPTOMS

During Windows 2000 Setup, you can click Accessibility Options after accepting the license agreement and then enable the Magnifier feature. If you do so, Magnifier may cover part of the Setup screen after the file-copy portion of Setup finishes and the computer restarts.

CAUSE

The Magnifier dialog box takes up room on the screen so that you can change Magnifier options (such as Tracking, Colors, and Presentation) if you want to. If the dialog box were minimized, you might not know that it is available.

RESOLUTION

To work around this issue, minimize the Magnifier window.

STATUS

This behavior is by design.
