The Client Service for NetWare service (CSNW) provides for pass-through authentication to NetWare during logon. However, for this to work, the credentials (the user name and password) for Windows 2000 and NetWare must be identical. RESOLUTIONYou can specify alternate credentials (after logging on) with CSNW by mapping a network drive to a NetWare resource in My Computer or Windows Explorer, or by using the NET USE command. STATUSMicrosoft has confirmed this to be a problem in the Microsoft products listed at the beginning of this article.
