SYMPTOMS

When you try to run an OS/2-based command-line utility from a Terminal Server client computer, you receive the following error message:

OS/2 subsystem is not supported for the remote terminal session.

CAUSE

This issue occurs because the Windows 2000 OS/2 subsystem can only be used on a local computer, and can not be used from a Terminal Server client computer.

STATUS

This behavior is by design.
