How to Show All Items on the Start Menu

Windows 2000 includes a Personalized Menus feature that keeps the menus clean by hiding items you have not used recently. This article describes how to turn this feature off so you can see all the menu items.

To turn off Personalized Menus:

  1. Click Start, point to Settings, and then click TaskBar & Start Menu.


  2. On the General tab, click to clear the Use Personalized Menus check box.


  3. Click OK.
