Help on the Dial-Up Networking Dialog Box Does Not Work

SYMPTOMS

When you click to select the Logon Using Dial-Up Networking check box on the Logon Information dialog box, click OK, and then click help, the button with the question mark (?), on the Dial-Up Networking dialog box, the help tool may not start.


CAUSE

This issue occurs because there is not a specific context which the help engine requires to function.


STATUS

Microsoft has confirmed this to be a problem in Microsoft Windows 2000.
