After you upgrade from Microsoft Windows NT 4.0 to Windows 2000, you may not be able to print. Rasdd.dll CAUSEWindows 2000 examines file dates to determine if files can be replaced by upgraded versions included with Windows 2000. In some cases (primarily when the Rasdd.dll and Rasddui.dll files have been replaced during the installation of third-party printer drivers) Windows 2000 does not upgrade the files. RESOLUTION
To prevent this problem from occurring, install Windows NT 4.0 Service Pack 5 (SP5) before you upgrade to Windows 2000.
