Serial Mouse Does Not Work in Safe Mode

SYMPTOMS

When you start your computer in Safe mode, your serial mouse does not function.


CAUSE

This issue occurs because serial mice do not work in Windows 2000 Safe mode.


STATUS

This behavior is by design.
