SYMPTOMSRAS connections are shared by all Terminal Services users who are connected to a Windows 2000 server with Terminal Services enabled. When a user attempts to disconnect a RAS connection that was created in another session, the following error message is displayed:
CAUSEWhen a RAS connection is established, the current Session ID is added to the port control block. When a user attempts to disconnect a RAS connection, the current Session ID must match that of the port control block. In other words, a RAS connection can be disconnected only from inside the session in which it was established. STATUSThis behavior is by design. Additional query words:
