SYMPTOMSWhen you configure a user account expiration date using the Net.exe utility and then view the information using the User Manager for Domains tool, the account expiration date does not appear to be the same. CAUSEThis issue occurs because the User Manager for Domains tool displays the account expiration date through the date where the user account is still valid, and the Net.exe utility displays the account expiration date as the date the account can no longer be used. Because of this, it may appear as if the account expiration date is different when viewed using these tools, when they are actually the same date. STATUSThis behavior is by design. MORE INFORMATION
The User Manager for Domains tool sets the account expiration date to the end of the day you enter. For example, if you configure the account expiration date to be 12/01/99, the account expires at the end of 12/01/99, at midnight. When you view the account expiration date information using the Net.exe utility, the account expiration date displays 12/02/99 12am, which is the same as 12/01/99 at midnight. Additional query words:
