SYMPTOMSWhen you remotely manage alternate print drivers on a computer running Windows 2000 or Microsoft Windows NT 4.0, you may be unable to remove an alternate driver by clearing the check box for the driver from the Additional Drivers area (located on the Sharing tab of the printer's properties). CAUSEThis behavior occurs because you can only add alternate print drivers at this location. RESOLUTIONTo remove printer drivers from a print server:
NOTE: You can do this remotely from a computer running Windows 2000 or Windows NT 4.0 by clicking the Printers folder after you connect to the computer (click Start, click Run, type \\computername where computername is the name of the computer, click OK, and then double-click Printers).
