RDP-TCP Permissions May Change After Adding Audit Entries

SYMPTOMS

After you add audit entries to a Remote Desktop Protocol-Transmission Control Protocol (RDP-TCP) connection in Terminal Services Configuration, the permissions on the connection change to:

Everyone - Full Control
For example, assume that the permissions on the RDP-TCP connection are as follows:
Administrators - Full Control
Users - User Access
Guests - Guest Access
The permissions are reset as follows after you add any user or group to the audit entries:
Everyone - Full Control


STATUS

Microsoft has confirmed this to be a problem in the Microsoft products listed at the beginning of this article.
