To disable the Persistent Connections registry parameter:

1. Start Registry Editor (Regedit.exe).



2. Locate the following registry key:




HKEY_USERS\.DEFAULT\Software\Microsoft\WindowsNT\CurrentVersion\Network\Persistent Connections

3. Right-click the SaveConnections value, and then click Modify.



4. In the Value data box, type no, and then click OK.



5. Quit Registry Editor.
