SUMMARYThe first time you start Microsoft Outlook Express, the Internet Connection Wizard guides you through the configuration of the program to connect to your e-mail server. If your e-mail server is a POP3 mail provider, all messages currently contained on the server are downloaded to the Outlook Express Inbox and removed from the server. MORE INFORMATION
When you configure Outlook Express for the first time, either disconnect the phone line before you start Outlook Express or configure Microsoft Internet Explorer to work offline so that messages are not removed from the e-mail server.
