SYMPTOMSAfter you upgrade to Windows 2000, from Microsoft Windows NT 4.0, Microsoft Windows 95, or Microsoft Windows 98, your settings for the Recycle Bin may be different than they were before you upgraded. CAUSEThis issue can occur because the settings for the Recycle Bin are not migrated during the upgrade. RESOLUTIONTo resolve this issue, right-click Recycle Bin, click Properties, configure the settings you want, and then click OK. MORE INFORMATIONThe Recycle Bin settings for Windows 95 and Windows 98 are in the registry. The Recycle Bin settings for Windows NT 4.0 are kept on disk. Additional query words:
