Cannot Make DUN Connection Available for All Users

SYMPTOMS

When you create a Dial-Up Networking (DUN) connection by using the Make New Connection wizard, you may not be prompted to make the connection available for all users.


CAUSE

This behavior occurs if you are logged on as a user without administrative rights.


RESOLUTION

To create a connection and make it available for all users who use the computer, log on as a user with administrative rights when you run the Make New Connection wizard. You are then prompted to make a connection available for all users when you create a new connection.


STATUS

This behavior is by design.
