SYMPTOMSWhen you attempt to connect to a Windows 2000 domain-based Distributed File System (DFS) share using a Windows NT-based client, you may receive the following error message:
CAUSEThis problem occurs because Windows 2000 includes new DFS fault tolerant features not implemented in the Windows NT version of the Mup.sys file. RESOLUTIONTo resolve this problem, obtain the latest service pack for Windows NT 4.0. For additional information, please see the following article in the
