SYMPTOMSThe Windows 2000 netsh command allows you to enter an invalid value for the Internet Protocol (IP) address of a local interface. STATUSMicrosoft has confirmed this to be a problem in the Microsoft products listed at the beginning of this article. MORE INFORMATIONWindows 2000 includes a command-line utility that you can use to make some configuration changes to the TCP/IP configuration of a local interface.
