SYMPTOMSIf you insert the Windows 2000 CD-ROM, remove it, and then click Install Windows 2000 in the dialog box that appeared automatically when you inserted the Windows 2000 CD-ROM, nothing happens and you receive no error message. RESOLUTIONTo work around this behavior, insert the Windows 2000 CD-ROM in the CD-ROM or DVD-ROM drive again. STATUSMicrosoft has confirmed this to be a problem in the Microsoft products listed at the beginning of this article.
