SYMPTOMSAfter you upgrade your Microsoft Windows NT 4.0-based computer to Windows 2000 and then you use W32time.exe to configure the Windows Time service to ignore secondary client broadcasts, your Windows 2000-based computer continues to monitor secondary client broadcasts. CAUSEThis problem can occur if the timesource value under the following registry key is set to "1": HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\System\CurrentControlSet\Services\LanmanServer\Parameters RESOLUTIONWARNING: Using Registry Editor incorrectly can cause serious problems that
may require you to reinstall your operating system. Microsoft cannot
guarantee that problems resulting from the incorrect use of Registry Editor
can be solved. Use Registry Editor at your own risk.
