SYMPTOMS
When you pause the playing of an audio compact disc (CD) in the CD Player program on a computer running Microsoft Windows 2000 Professional, press the eject button on the CD-ROM drive, and then insert a new CD, Windows 2000 may not recognize the new CD.
RESOLUTIONTo work around this behavior, click Stop in the CD Player program before you eject a CD, click Eject to eject it, and then insert the new CD. STATUSMicrosoft has confirmed this to be a problem in Microsoft Windows 2000. Additional query words: device audio read disk
