SYMPTOMSIf you create a shortcut to the NetWare or Compatible Network icon and then uninstall the Microsoft NetWare redirector (Client Services for NetWare [CSNW] on a Windows 2000 Professional-based computer or Gateway Services for NetWare [GSNW] on a Windows 2000-based server), subsequent attempts to use the shortcut display the Microsoft Windows Network icon. RESOLUTIONReinstalling CSNW or GSNW causes the shortcut to correctly display NetWare resources. If you need to remove CSNW or GSNW permanently, delete any shortcuts to the NetWare or Compatible Network icon.
