SYMPTOMSWhen you are using Interix 2.2 and you use the MKDIR command (a Unix utility used to make directories), you may not create a directory if you use the following syntax mkdir dirname/where dirname is the name of a directory that you want to create. CAUSEThis issue occurs because you typed a slash (/) at the end of the command. RESOLUTIONTo resolve this issue, type the following command: mkdir dirname STATUSThis is a known issue with the Interix versions listed in this article.
