SYMPTOMSYou may receive a prompt to choose which hardware profile to use when starting into Windows 2000, even if only one profile exists on your Windows 2000-based computer. CAUSEThis behavior occurs because Microsoft Windows NT 4.0 files (Ntldr and Ntdetect.com) are being used to start Windows 2000.
