ID: Q246403

The information in this article applies to:
  • Microsoft Windows 2000 Server
  • Microsoft Windows 2000 Advanced Server

SYMPTOMS

Terminal Services Manager (Tsadmin.exe) allows the administration of only certain servers. In its tree view, Tsadmin.exe displays in the left pane only servers in your current domain and any trusted domains. Servers in another forest, for example, are not listed.

WORKAROUND

To administer a server that is not in your domain or a trusted domain, use Terminal Services Client to log on to the server you want to administer, and run Terminal Services Manager locally.

MORE INFORMATION

Windows 2000 Terminal Services Manager does not feature a "connect to" function. This feature is under review and will be considered for inclusion in a future release.
