SYMPTOMSWhen you are properly shutting down Microsoft Windows 2000 by clicking OK in the Shut Down Windows dialog box, and a program is still running, a dialog box appears, asking whether you want to save changes to the active program. When you do not respond within about five seconds, you receive an End Program dialog box that offers only two options, End Now and Cancel. STATUSThis behavior is by design.
