SYMPTOMS

When the Routing and Remote Access Service (RRAS) process on a Microsoft Windows 2000 Server-based computer shuts down while a demand-dial interface is still connected, the interface does not reconnect after you restart RRAS.

RESOLUTION

To work around this behavior, restart the computer.

STATUS

Microsoft has confirmed this to be a problem in Microsoft Windows 2000 Server.
