Shared Access Tab Is Not Removed when Network Adapter Is Removed

SYMPTOMS

When you enable shared access on one dial-up network connection on a computer running Microsoft Windows 2000 Professional, the Shared Access tab appears on all dial-up network connections, regardless of whether you have enabled shared access for the connections. When you remove the adapter that is using the shared connection, the Properties dialog box for the connection still displays the Shared Access tab.

This behavior is by design.
