Shared Connection Lost After Upgrading from Beta 3 to RC1

SYMPTOMS

When you have a shared network connection enabled on your computer and you upgrade Microsoft Windows 2000 Server from Beta 3 to RC1, the shared connection no longer works.

RESOLUTION

To work around this problem, disable and then re-enable Shared Access for the connection after you finish upgrading Windows 2000.

STATUS

Microsoft has confirmed this to be a problem in Microsoft Windows 2000 Server.
