SYMPTOMSWhen you put NetMeeting into sleep mode on a Microsoft Windows 2000-based computer, it does not release the memory it consumes. When you view NetMeeting's memory usage in Performance Monitor, you see that it does not decrease when NetMeeting is put into sleep mode. CAUSEWhen you start NetMeeting, the system loads the multimedia drivers that NetMeeting uses to accept incoming calls. When you put NetMeeting into sleep mode, those drivers remain in memory, consuming substantial resources. STATUSThis behavior is by design.
