SYMPTOMSWhen you connect to a Windows 2000-based computer running Terminal Services that has the "Disabled Wallpaper" check box selected, the wallpaper is still displayed on your Terminal Services client computer desktop. CAUSEThis issue can occur if the Active Desktop is enabled on your computer. The "Disable Wallpaper" setting does not disable the Active Desktop feature, and because of this, the wallpaper is still displayed on your Terminal Services client computer. RESOLUTIONTo work around this issue, use the appropriate method to disable the Active Desktop feature: Disable Active Desktop for all Connections to a Terminal Server

MORE INFORMATIONWhen you enable Terminal Services on a Windows 2000-based computer, a RDP-TCP connection is created, and the "Disable Wallpaper" check box is automatically selected.
