SYMPTOMSWhen you upgrade your computer from Microsoft Windows NT 4.0 Service Pack 6 to Windows 2000 Advanced Server, you may receive the following error message in the System Event log:
CAUSE
This issue can occur because Windows NT 4.0 Service Pack 6 does not write the product suite type to the registry.
RESOLUTIONYou can safely ignore this error message, if the Cluster service starts successfully on the Windows 2000 node of the cluster. The Cluster service startup code uses the correct defaults. STATUSMicrosoft has confirmed this to be a problem in the Microsoft products listed at the beginning of this article. Additional query words: mscs
