SYMPTOMSWhen you run the RealPlayer version 7 program, it may continuously prompt you to provide registration information, and it may sporadically stop responding (hang). CAUSEThis issue can occur if the following registry key does not grant the Set Value permission to the current user: HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\Software\RealNetworksThe RealPlayer version 7 program may incorrectly interpret that it has write permissions to this registry key, even though this key is not generally "writeable" in a secured environment. RESOLUTION
