License Manager Issued to Field Does Not Reflect Name Change

• Microsoft Windows NT Server version 4.0, Terminal Server Edition

SYMPTOMS

When a licensee changes his or her computer name, License Manager still displays the old computer name in the Issued To field.

CAUSE

This problem is a user interface issue. Windows Terminal Server uses the hardware ID and it works correctly.

STATUS

This behavior is by design.
