SYMPTOMSYou modify the InitinalKeyboardIndicator value in an effort to turn the NUMLOCK key on for a particular user, but when that user logs on, the NUMLOCK key is off. CAUSEWhen you change the value of InitialKeyboardIndicators under HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Control Panel\Keyboard from the default value of 0 to 2, the value is changed back to 0 when you log off. STATUSMicrosoft has confirmed this to be a problem in Windows NT version 4.0, Terminal Server Edition. Additional query words: 4.00
