SYMPTOMS
Windows Metafile (.WMF) graphics or drawings that you create using the Word
6.0 for Windows drawing tools print incorrectly on color printers if the
graphic image contains white objects. The image prints as if the white
object does not exist.
CAUSEThis problem occurs if the Use Color option is selected in the Options dialog box for the printer driver. Microsoft has reproduced this problem with all color dot-matrix and ink jet printer drivers that use the Windows UNIDRV.DLL and DMCOLOR.DLL files (including EPSON24.DRV, EPSON9.DRV, CITUS24.DRV, PANSON24.DRV, and STAR24E.DRV). WORKAROUNDThis problem does not occur with Microsoft Draw objects, so you can work around this problem by converting your .WMF or Word drawing to a Microsoft Draw object using the following steps:
