SYMPTOMSOn your computer running Windows 3.1 and LAN Manager, when you log on to a domain that is different from the domain specified in the LANMAN.INI file, you see the following error when you try to add a user and subsequently enter your administrator password in Server Manager: If your client cannot locate the primary domain controller (PDC) of the domain specified in the LANMAN.INI file, the following error appears in Server Manager: These symptoms occur sporadically. NOTE: You can obtain the Server Manager program from the Windows NT 3.51 Server compact disc in the \CLIENTS\SRVTOOLS\WINDOWS directory. STATUSMicrosoft has confirmed this to be a problem in LAN Manager 2.2c or the Server Manager program.
