SYMPTOMSIf you use the Microsoft Service for NetWare Directory Services (MSNDS), the print banner settings on a captured NDS printer may be reset to the default values after you restart your computer. For example, the Banner check box and the Banner description box on the Capture Settings tab may be reset. CAUSEThis behavior occurs because the RestorePersistentCaptureFlags function in the Nwnp32.dll file incorrectly restores the capture flag settings. RESOLUTIONThis issue is resolved by the following updated file for Windows 95:
NOTE: This file is named Nwnp32.nw4 before it is installed.

Microsoft has confirmed this to be a problem in Microsoft Windows 95. An
update to address this problem is now available, but is not fully
regression tested and should be applied only to computers experiencing this
specific problem. Unless you are severely impacted by this specific
problem, Microsoft does not recommend implementing this update at this
time. Contact Microsoft Technical Support for additional information about
the availability of this update.
