Both are hidden files in the Windows folder. SYMPTOMSWhen you are running Microsoft Windows 95 OEM Service Release version 2 or 2.1 and you are using either the Windows 95 Client for NetWare Networks or the Novell 32-bit client for Windows 95, the %OS_VERSION variable returns "V7.00" rather than the value "V7.10" as you expect. CAUSENwredir.vxd returns an incorrect version. RESOLUTION
WARNING: Using Registry Editor incorrectly can cause serious problems that
may require you to reinstall Windows 95. Microsoft cannot guarantee that
problems resulting from the incorrect use of Registry Editor can be
solved. Use Registry Editor at your own risk.
