Scheduled Fax with Attached File Is Not Sent

• Microsoft Windows 95 OEM Service Release version 2

SYMPTOMS

If a fax has an attached file and it is scheduled to be sent at a later time, the fax is not sent.

RESOLUTION

This issue is resolved by the following updated files for Windows 95 OEM Service Release 2:

   Awlinz32.dll  dated 5/13/98,  32,256 bytes, version 4.0.963
   Awsnto32.exe  dated 5/13/98,  32,328 bytes, version 4.0.963
   Mapi32.dll    dated 5/13/98, 724,176 bytes, version 4.0.963 

STATUS

Microsoft has confirmed this to be a problem in Microsoft Windows 95 OEM Service Release version 2. An update to address this problem is now available, but is not fully regression tested and should be applied only to computers experiencing this specific problem. Unless you are severely impacted by this specific problem, Microsoft does not recommend implementing this update at this time. Contact Microsoft Technical Support for additional information about the availability of this update.
