SYMPTOMS

When you attempt to run Windows Setup, you may receive the following error message:

Some Control Panel settings have changed since you last started Windows - close all programs - restart Windows, and then try Setup up again.

CAUSE

This error message is caused by the Diamond InControl Tools program.

RESOLUTION

To resolve this issue, quit the Diamond InControl Tools program before starting Windows Setup.
