SYMPTOMSThe following error message is displayed when you select one of the options under Help from any Windows 3.0 application:
CAUSEThe Microsoft Windows 3.0 Help engine file "WINHELP.EXE" may still be in the compressed format from the Windows disks. You can verify if the WINHELP.EXE file is compressed by looking at the file size. If the file size is 100335 bytes, then it is compressed. RESOLUTIONYou need to use the EXPAND.EXE utility to decompress the WINHELP.EXE file.. EXPAND.EXE is located on the Windows 3.0 disk 2 for all three disk formats.
