How to Hide and Unhide Subdirectories in File Manager

SUMMARY
With File Manager's Change Attributes function, it is possible to set
attributes for subdirectories as well as files. Hidden subdirectories
do not appear in directory windows, the directory tree, or directory
listings from MS-DOS as long as the listings are not set to include
hidden files.

- From the directory tree in File Manager, select the "parent" of the
directory to be hidden.
- Press ENTER or double click the folder to open the directory window
for the parent directory.
- Select the directory to hide.
- From the File menu, choose Change Attributes.
- Select hidden from the Change Attributes Dialog.
- Choose OK.
Steps to Unhide Directory(s)
- From the directory tree in File Manager, select the "parent" of the
directory to be unhidden.
- From the View menu, choose Include.
- From the Include dialog box, select Show Hidden/System Files.
- Choose OK.
- Press ENTER or double click the folder to get the directory window
for the parent directory.
- Select the directory to unhide.
- From the File menu, choose Change Attributes.
- Cancel Hidden from the Change Attributes dialog box.
- Choose OK.
The directory should now be visible in directory windows, the
directory tree, and directory listings from MS-DOS.
