Letter Gothic Font May Truncate with ProCollection Cartridge

SYMPTOMS

If you use version 3.0 of the Windows Hewlett-Packard (HP) LaserJet II or III driver and the ProCollection font cartridge when the Letter Gothic font is selected, text is truncated at the end of lines in Microsoft Word for Windows. If the text extends past the right margin indicator on the ruler in page or page layout view, the text is truncated in print preview and on printouts.

STATUS

Microsoft has confirmed this to be a problem in the LaserJet II or III driver included with Windows version 3.0. This problem was corrected and does not occur in later versions of Windows.
