Top Margin Too Small with Epson LQ Driver

SYMPTOMS

Using the Epson LQ printer driver that ships with Windows version 3.0 produces an top margin that is truncated by approximately .5 inch. For example, if you set a top margin of 1 inch for a Word for Windows document, the resulting margin is .5 inch.

STATUS

Microsoft has confirmed this to be a problem in the Epson LQ printer driver that ships with Windows version 3.0. This problem was corrected and does not occur in the driver shipped with later versions of Windows.
