SYMPTOMSUnder Microsoft Windows version 3.1, when any printer driver supported by the Microsoft Universal Printer driver (UNIDRV.DLL) is used, a general protection (GP) fault may occur when printing very small bitmaps. This problem is typically most noticeable when using a Hewlett-Packard (HP) series II printer (HPPCL.DRV) and printing at 75 dots-per-inch (dpi) resolution. CAUSEThis is caused by a problem with the UNIDRV.DLL. RESOLUTIONAn updated version of the Universal Printer driver that corrects this problem is available from Microsoft Product Support Services.
