This functionality is useful when printing to forms. However, Excel version 4.0 uses common dialog boxes, and therefore is limited to integer font sizes.

Likewise, Word for Windows versions 2.0, 2.0a, and 2.0a-CD control the Font box in the Format Character dialog box; therefore, Word accepts half-point sizes (for example, 11.5) in the point-size boxes on the ribbon and in the Format Character dialog box.
