SYMPTOMSPacific Data Products has confirmed that its printer drivers with a file date earlier than 5/21/92 for the 25-In-One! III cartridge are not compatible with Microsoft Windows version 3.1 when printing to any of the following printers: Hewlett-Packard (HP) LaserJet Series IIIf you print a document formatted for a 25-In-One! III cartridge font to one of these printers, the document will print using the printer's default internal font. MORE INFORMATIONAccording to Pacific Data Products, updated printer drivers are available. These new drivers have a file date of 5/21/92 on the .PCM, .EXE, and .FON files. WORKAROUNDSPacific Data Products offers the following workarounds if you have not yet received your updated printer drivers: HP Series IIP and IIP PlusSelect the Series IIIP driver in the Printer Setup dialog box instead of the HP IIP. All text and graphics should print as expected.HP Series II - Text-Only documentsSelect the HP Series III driver in the Printer Setup dialog box. All text should print as expected, but graphics will not print correctly. TrueType fonts should also print correctly.HP Series IID - Text-Only documentsSelect the HP IIID driver in the Printer Setup dialog box. All text should print as expected, but graphics will not print correctly.
