SYMPTOMS
When you use version 2.0 or 2.0a of Word for Windows with a Microsoft
Windows version 3.1 printer driver, such as PSCRIPT.DRV version 3.5, set
for a resolution (dpi) greater than 1270, the following message is
displayed:
The graphics resolution of the currently selected printer is too
high for Word to handle. Please select a different printer or a
lower graphics resolution in File Print Setup.
RESOLUTION
- Run Control Panel.
- Choose the Printers icon.
- Select the printer driver, then choose the Setup button.
- Choose the Options button, then choose the Advanced button.
- Reduce the entry in the Resolution box to 1270 or less.
NOTE: All the Linotronic printer drivers that ship with Windows 3.1
allow you to choose resolutions higher than 1270.
